Western Noise Control recently worked on the newly opened Rapid Fire Theatre located just off Whyte Ave. in Edmonton, Alberta. The project scope included the installation of our Echotrol Woodart Acoustic system in the foyer and in the improv theatre, dubbed the Rapid Fire Exchange. It is an exciting opportunity to work on a project that the public gets to experience and enjoy. We want to say a big thank you to Rapid Fire for hosting the first-ever show in this space to the trades that worked to bring the theatre to life. It was an honour to be included.

Acoustic Wall Panel Mural as a Cost-Savings Exercise

The Thelma Chalifoux School in Edmonton was built using the integrated project delivery model, commonly called IPD for short. This model varies from traditional Design-Bid-Build projects in that it allows more collaboration between all of the key stakeholders. As a part of this process, Western Noise Control was brought in to discuss options for adding acoustic treatment into this common area, while keeping costs low.
